MalwareBytes Corporation is something of an enigma. Its flagship product Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (Free, 3.5 stars) is wildly popular and known worldwide. Tech support agents at other security companies fall back on it when pugnacious malware won't let their product install.

If you're using the free version, you'll need to update manually.

I just opened the program & was notified that I hadn't updated in 21-days!
