Egad!!!! -- I'm still trying to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 withouut crashing my computer and now THIS!!!
nononono
This new computer is a Compaq with AMD processor and has already crashed once from an XP SP3 update installation!!!

shocked.gif Oh man, that is terrible. I have AMD processors in all my builds and I never had any issues at all. Hope you can sort it out, Vindicated!

Successfully installed XP SP3 after installing 7 Critical Updates from Hewlett-Packard!
I'm totally impressed with HP's online support -- it works very much like Microsoft Update -- scans your computer and recommends needed updates!!
I'm 'off & running' now!!!
