Their "Defender" fizzled (IMO) after buying it from "Giant"...so I will definitely wait on this one.
I have been using Avast for about 3 years.

Yeah -- I've learned not to become too attached to any Microsoft product!
They're bad about dropping support -- after the "life cycle" expires.
(...and guess who determines the "life cycle"?)
