I have a problem with my computer at work, that I can't seem to find anyone here that can help me.
We have a server and have 2 computer connected to it.
Server: Windows server 2003 2 computers: XP Professional
Here is the problem we have an old dos accounting program that is on the server. We had to replace 1 computer, but now it will not let me open the dos program on the new computer. I get an error message:
RCF.file not found.
Our tech guy can not figure out how to fix this. Can anyone help me? It is something I can do or tell the tech guy how to fix?
Hmm.. I am not much of a network person....... I wonder if there is some type of pathway to your DOS program that is not set on your new computer? Can you open other server files on your new computer? Is someone out there that has network experience and has a ready solution?
