I've been to all corners of the 'net doing all sorts of things, but sooner or later I always try to find my way back to my 'roots'.
It's been a while, but I used to just go by my first name-Tim, possibly Timothy. I think after an absence of a couple years I had forgotten my old log-in, and re-registered as "TimandAlice" or some variation there-of. This time around I decided to just use the name "hrsetrdr", which is what I've adopted as standard for the many forums I frequent. I was with the original bunch that migrated to the TMF set up on MSN Groups, which I presume is now defunct. I forget, but wasn't it the old-old ZDNET forums that we came from, around 2000?
Anyway, I hope to see some of the veterans(not usin' the O word ) and get to know everyone else!

I remember 'Tim & Alice' from MSN Groups when Zeke, Honeybuns, Norm, Barney, Eddie, Sallie & Beetle were managers there -- I was 'Beetle' (Vindicated here) and 'Eddie' is Desperado here. 'Norm' has abandoned his forum work after being locked-out of his own 'Members Forum' by a "snake-in-the-grass" (quoting Norm) named 'Bear'. This is a fairly active group, hope you'll join-in the discussions!!

Hi all! Wow, sorry to hear about Norm's "lock-out", I won't ask about the details. This is a nice looking forum, I've not heard of Activeboard before. I set up a PHPBB forum as sort of a "lifeboat" for the members of the [now defunct] PC Club Forum , when it became apparent that PC Club was going down; kinda the same purpose as what this forum serves. Googling-for-answers tells me that MSN Groups went down in Oct '08; I used for be all over the MSN networks back when I got my first computer, which I was connecting to the net over MSN's dialup service. Well, it's 2 AM and I have to go to work tomorrow, so I'll just wish you all a happy Memorial Day, and see you later.
