Australian blogger and technology enthusiast, Chris Walsh noticed (and tweeted) moments ago that Amazon’s extremely popular Kindle client is now available for WP7. The application is already available on most other smartphone platforms, and whilst its arrival on WP7 might not mean a lot to some – it’s another clear sign that big firms are betting on the success of WP7.

A quick look on Marketplace Browser (a web based WP7 Marketplace browser) shows that the application makes use of the metro interface, and appears to contain all of Kindle’s basic features – including the ability to change text size, have a black or white background, and more.
