Battery cal screen
Permalink

For some reason my laptop WinXP is showing a battery calibration option prior to opening Windows.

I have to push esc to remove it and start Windows.

How can I avoid this screen?

Thanks,

Bill

Your 'battery calibrate' is probably a utility unique to your particular computer -- we'd need to know more about your computer (make & model number) to help.

If you go ahead & run it when you get the pop-up, it probably won't pop-up again.

To add to this: if your battery is failing and Windows doesn't know its capacity...it would be pointless to calibrate. Off hand I don't know if that monitor is in the BIOS or a "Service" that can be turned-off.
