TomTom Tracks U.K. Drivers for Insurance Purposes

Dutch GPS provider TomTom said Wednesday that it has teamed with the U.K.'s Motaquote on an insurance initiative that will track a driver's vehicle and assess insurance premiums depending on his or her driving habits.

I have used a few Garmins and I was given a Magellan for Xmas a few years back and really like it. It tracks satellites much faster than a Garmin (and hopefully no one tracks me).

We don't have a smart phone or a GPS here and don't even use Facebook.
