Help needed to open a PDF file...

Up until last week i have had no issues opening pdf files...

This week I was sent an email containing a pdf file with some flight info that I booked for some reason i cant open it, I update to Adobe reader 9 and did what was required but I still cant open it and yet i can open other pdf files that are already on my pc, can I fix this or do I need to contact them and ask them to send me another file ???

TIA for any assistance given...

Hey Mrs. Hugs!

Does the extension of the file say .pdf? (just checking to make sure that it is not some other type of file).

If it is indeed a .pdf file, then it is probably corrupted. I would suggest that it be resent. Also ask your friend to make sure that she / he can open the file before it is sent.

You might try Foxit Reader.
I prefer this reader over Adobe Reader although both are on this computer.

Hi Guys...

Yes it does have pdf as its extension...

Will go try Foxit reader I will have to open up the lap top and see if I can do it that way encase its something wrong on this pc if it doesnt open that way then I will have to phone the flight company and get them to resend me the details...

I installed Foxit Reader and clicked on the pdf file attached to the email and it still didnt open...

Will try the lap top tomorrow an dlet you know how I get on...

Well it must be an issue with MSN Hotmail because I cant open anything that is attached, but if I forward the email to a different email account I can open attachments...

Any help ???

Sounds like the issue IS the Hotmail account and the way Hotmail is now handling attachments:
