I think Ed may be the only person who understands this whole thing and that includes the peeps at MS.  However, it does appear that MS has liberalized this whole plan quite a bit since the first news release. 

I'm sure they know they need to do a lot of heavy duty PR in order to clean up the 'Vista legacy'.

I've already ordered two copies of the Home Premium upgrade, so I guess I will find out how it works come October.

Thanks for the post, Barney.  Has anything concrete come out on the 'family pack'?  The last I heard MS still hadn't quite confirmed it.
