Everybody knows Windows 7 is just around the corner and, as with every Windows upgrade prerequisites to getting Windows 7 to upgrade and install correctly are of course an absolute necessity. Now Windows 7 is much easier than its predecessors when getting it to upgrade over an operating system. I'm sure by now, all of you have heard Windows 7 will not upgrade over Windows XP. Realizing this is a really big pain in the butt for a lot of you since you did not make the jump to Vista there really is not a whole lot you can do your going to have to simply just suck it up make sure everything is back to put the disk in and do a clean installation. Microsoft is trying to make it a little bit easier though for you XP users. Microsoft has introduced something called an easy transfer tool and it is available to you windows XP users, however for those who are still on the fence or need some assistance in using the tool you can check out this article over on How-To Geek.com to see, step-by-step, exactly how to use the easy transfer tool (they also offer some screenshots showing you exactly the steps you need to take to utilize the tool correctly). One of the biggest areas people are having the most difficulty with is upgrading from a windows XP machine tool window seven machine. Now let me tell you it's not all that difficult. You will need a few things though in order to have a successful upgrade/re-install.
