Hey, I just noticed that we'ev had a big increase in our daily viewership...... I saw yesterday that we had over 70 people looking at the site in the last 24 hours!
Welcome to all and thanks to all of our great contributors!
Notice TheSamba Forum, it has almost too much activity. I recently joined as 'Ol'Beetle' and read all new posts on the 'Bay Window Bus' Forum each day.
Just lamenting our lack of registered user participation at TMF.
Well, I think that one of this biggest hurdles that we have is that we are buried inside another board (Activeboard). If we had our own website (like the one I just opened up), we would probably get more visitors and hits. The actual registered members will always be small, I think.
For instance, I opened My Computer Playground on May 24th and I have only 9 registered members, many of whom came from here (thank you). I do, however have over 500 visitors a day. The largest website I work with (Neowin) has, on average, 250 members and usually somewhere on the average of 2000 - 3000 visitors at a time (within a 30 minute time span). They have almost 10 million posts to date!

Yeah -- we had a rash of Russian spam bots on another forum and had to take drastic measures to get rid of them. On the "LoveMyBus' forum we've also had a couple of spammers but all I can do there is report them to Admin since I'm not high enough on the 'totem pole' to nuke them.
