Cell Phones
Permalink

I am looking to find out from this group what type of cell phones you have/like and what type of plan and the vendor.

The hubby and I are currently running VE20 through US Cellular.  1000 minutes shared, free incoming, free cell to cell in plan, nation wide.  No data though.  We are finding that our bill has increased immensely as we use more and more data.  Plus our phones are horrible.  Mine has actually been defective in the ear piece since day one.

We are looking to change phones, plans, and more than likely vendors.  Any advice?

I have the most current Blackberry Bold  9650. I love it! Currnetly, the most popular are the DroidX phones (Android type). An example is the Droid Incredible.

Look at my site: http://www.mycomputerplayground.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=43&Itemid=80

and read through some of the articles. You will see lots of choices. I like Verizon as a carrier, and if you go to their website, you can see the phones they offer: http://www.verizonwireless.com

We are using AT&T Wireless.
No fancy stuff or 'smart phone'.

We have the same as you estraya with unlimited texting (daughter!) no internet, no Smart phones.
After having Alltel/Verizon...we find US to be like night and day.
IMO USC is the best for "our" area.

How much could she care about our opinions...if she doesn't return to see them?
Not criticizing...just a fact. :(

Since the threads can be seen without logging in, apparently there was an assumption that I had not returned to see the answers.

I didn't realize there was a time limitation on when I needed to return to see the answers, AND that I must log in to see them. Maybe that note should be put into "The Member's Forum why we are here and posting guidelines" thread.

If an effort to help is put forth an acknowledgment is the usual process.
Many ppl on usenet multi-post to different groups...when they get the answer they have been looking for...they often don't respond to the other groups.
It's "Netiquette" (or the lack of it) and there are no set rules.

TMF is what you guys want it to be. I enjoy posting my responses (for what they are worth) to questions and do not expect anything in return. I do, however enjoy a response that lets me know I am on the right track. aww

I just stay logged-in so that members can see my comings & goings.
I often check 'List All Users' to see who's been on recently -- it's usually 'Guests'.

I am always logged, also. (I saw a guest from Sweden a day or so ago!)
