Apple has released driver updates for seven printers and scanners.

Mac OS X version 10.6 users will be able to download these updates from the AppleWweb site, but can use the Software Update program to ensure they have the proper version for their printer or scanner.

MacWorld reported that the update includes printers from vendors Brother, Infotec, Savin, Gestetner, Ricoh, Lanier, and NRG. The update is primarily focused on business and enterprise models.

If you are unsure of which one to download or if a download is necessary, simply connect your printer or add the device using the System Preferences. If an update is available you will be prompted with an option to install the new software.
