Do We Need Laws on Location-Based Data?

Apple and Google faced off against members of Congress again today about location-based data, with Facebook also along for the ride.

All three companies reiterated that they do not track their users' location without permission, though senators at today's hearing had a particular interest in how location services impact younger users.
